Many engineers and scientists in organizations are charged with the task of managing one or more projects in their organization at the same time. This course is designed for all levels of project managers, both new and experienced, who wish to further develop their project management skills and learn the skills necessary to effectively execute a project and achieve a successful project outcome.
This course will discuss various project management concepts including the following:
Understanding the project objectives

Establishing performance standards for each parameter
Determining metrics to measure the achievement of each standard
Developing and implementing a plan

Analysis of available resources and development of needs list

Developing Lessons Learned that may be applied to future projects
This course will guide the student through a step-by-step process of analyzing how best to manage a project.
